Assignment will initially be partially remote (2-3 days/week onsite, other days remote). However, once employees return to the office onsite, this Temporary Worker will also be expected to report to work onsite with the remainder of the staff 5 days per week. Local candidates will be highly preferred for this role, if not local, indicate willingness/availability to work onsite.
Role:  Test Automation Lead.
Building test automation scripts using UFT14 (Hp QTP) using the Effecta framework.
Provide training session and KT to the state workforce.
Run performance testing using Load Runner tool.
Requirement Description:

Staff Augmentation Services

The Test Lead will work closely with the Manager and Business Analyst with the review and validation of requirements deliverable’s and managing risks. The Test Lead will be responsible for the planning and execution of quality assurance testing to identify, reproduce, and report defects in software. Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected (for functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems).
• Leads all unit testing.
• Plans and reviews unit test models for product test and release control (plans, data, and scripts) including regression testing.
• Plans product unit tests with Functional Team Leads and team members.
• Defines unit test plans and criteria for acceptance.
• Assess current automation unit testing scripts and coverage.
• Approves Entry/Exit criteria to be used.
• Directs work planning and the development of accurate estimates for testing activities as required.
• Ensures that test design remains within project scope.
• Communicates accurate and useful status reports to Systems Team Lead and other management on a timely basis.
• Communicates effectively with customers.
• Ensures that defined processes are followed.
• Conducts post project reviews and quality assessments.
• Develops and facilitates testing goals and metrics.
• Provides training to existing staff

Interview:
During the interview process with the TAX staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance.

Mandatory Requirements/Time:
Technical Skills:
1. 7+ years of software testing experience
2. 5+ years of using automation test tools QTP UFT14
3. 2 + years using HP load runner for load testing.
4. Knowledge on other tools. JMeter, Selenium etc.)
5. Basic understanding of Java language and other scripting techniques.
