Job Description:
10 years of experience as a programmer using the following:
-Visual Basic 6.0
-ASP -COM+
-Visual Studio.NET v1.1
-Visual Studio.NET v2.0
-Web Services
-ADO
-ADO.NET
-Javascript
-RDBMS (i.e.,Oracle, DB2, SQL Server)
-AJAX
Desired Experience:
-3+ years experience writing and testing new and modifying existing web application systems using VB 6.0, ASP, Javascript, COM+, ADO in an n-tier environment.
-2+ years experience writing and testing new and modifying existing web application systems using VB.NET. ASP.NET, ADO.NET in an n-tier environment.
Additional Knowledge/Experience Advantageous to this placement
-Knowledge of insurance system
-Knowledge of Ohio BWC
-Experience developing services or developing applications built with services oriented architecture(SOA)
-App Center and Share point services
-Skill in the use of organizational tools & methods (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, VISIO, Clarity
-Ability to quickly adapt to changes, enhancements, and new technologies
