Requirement Description:
The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) is looking for an experienced application developer to join the team. She or he will be involved in design, development, coding, customization, configuration, testing, deployment of applications and provide post deployment support.

This position will function as a skilled programmer 4 that include:

• Utilize the software development lifecycle to implement technology solutions that create and enhance applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases, PL/SQL packages.
• Knowledge of ETL process.
• Knowledge of EDI 837, 835 and 277 standards.
• Knowledge of Json file format
• Define and capture metadata and rules associated with ETL processes.
• Meet with business users to gather requirements for software applications. Assess feasibility and make technical recommendations. Define objectives, create requirement documents, application specifications and project plans.
• Create and perform unit and systems testing on software developed by the development team.
• Inspect, analyze, and translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical design, application code, and configuration parameters.
• Produce design specifications, including screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, and printed outputs developed for self and others.
• Convert technical design and specifications into functioning components through the development of application code and configuration.
• Participate in code review.
• Participate in defining system implementation and user-acceptance test plans.
• Assist with the analysis of bug fixes/issues, with ability to lead small groups of IT and business staff for troubleshooting, problem resolution and brainstorming for available solutions.
• Apply best practices in the design of system processes to support information loads, validations and reporting.
Mandatory Requirements/Time
• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
• 7+ years of Application Development
• 7+ years of PL/SQL experience
• 7+ years of Oracle
• 5+ years of SQL script
• 5+ Years of UI/UX experience
• 5+ years of ETL process
• 3+ years of Json file data extract
• 2+ years of EDI experience is plus
