Requirement Description:
The ODT active project demand is currently greater than ODT’s PMO capacity. There are currently three pending projects that require a project manager.
• Aspect Systems Upgrades top UIP (Upgrade to UIP, Add UMS devices, Replace VXML with AVP)
• Internet Website Upgrade
• Oracle Upgrade
The candidate will be required to perform the following for each active project assigned
• Incorporate assigned projects into the ODT agile project management methodology
• Obtain proper resources commitments from ODT resource managers for the projects
• Complete work breakdowns for the requested scope of the project and document in Workfront
• Complete roadmaps/timelines
• Complete status reports, may include reports directly to steering committees
• Document risks, issues and decisions for the project and escalate any project blockers to ODT management
• Prepare presentations on the project status for groups of ODT management if requested
For this role ODT is looking for a resource that has strong skills in the following
• Communication skills
• Experience with agile project management methodologies (Scrum & Kanban)
• Experience with project management tools (Workfront)
• Knowledge of the PMBOK
• Knowledge of Information Technology
Mandatory Requirements/Time:
• 4 plus years of experience with IT project management.
• 2 plus years of experience with agile project management methodologies.
