RSC Product Specialist 5/PS5- (.net/Azure)
This position most closely matches with Product Specialist 5. This engagement will be focused on ensuring that our project schedule and efforts to move us toward State of Ohio InnovateOhio Platform solutions and industry standard cloud implementations are completed timely for all our applications. The candidate will work with IT and State of Ohio Office of Information Technology (OIT) teams specifically on: .NET/CSS solution development converting applications to the InnovateOhio digital identity and user experience.
The position requires expertise and understanding of developing .NET solutions with a focus in CSS and SAML technology. The engineer/consultant will work with our IT teams to:
- Convert applications to use the State of Ohio InnovateOhio Platform for digital identity and user experience (https://innovateohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/innovate/platform).
- Collaborate with all IT (Network, Application Development, Database, Help Desk) technical teams to ensure proper integration of the environments
- Strong background in:
- .NET Framework – 4.5 or newer
- C# Development
- CSS and JavaScript
- SAML Authentication/Authorization and Identity/service Providers
- Database Platforms and Data Management: SQL Server
- Development Management Platforms: Visual Studio and TFS
- Software Development Lifecycle
- Desired background in:
- Authentication/Federation/Authorization methodologies in relation to the Microsoft Cloud: SSO, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, ADFS, Multi-factor,
