This position will be responsible for managing and overseeing the effort for various ODM Information Technology Services (ITS) projects, examples include software development projects, IT infrastructure projects, and COTS products implementation. Tasks include the coordination and managing work of both technical and business workstreams.
Responsibilities:
• Provides project oversight ensuring that ODM and contracted vendors meet their commitments to bring the project in on time and within budget and scope.
• Provides overall direction, guidance, communication and facilitation of assigned projects, including working with cross-functional teams at ODM, contracted vendor and external stakeholders (as required).
• Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for complete life cycle of projects including the planning, requirements gathering, design, programming, testing, training and implementation of business solutions.

Detailed Day-To-Day Job Duties to be performed:
• Collaborate and coordinate effort with ODM PMO in managing ITS projects, monitoring, tracking and reporting project progress when appropriate.
• Create, execute, and update project plans and maintain all project documentation.
• Manage project risks and issues, and oversee supporting processes including change management.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings with business stakeholders (ODM, other state agencies, external entity users), ODM ITS, DAS/OIT and/or external vendors.
• Manage, coordinate, communicate and establish priorities for complete life-cycle of projects including the planning, requirements gathering, design, programming, testing, training and implementation of business solutions designed to meet requirements of various offices in the department, such as policy, finance, HR, communication, IT, and etc.
• Design project plans, which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel.
REQUIRED Skill Sets:
• At least 8 years’ relevant experience in Information Technology (IT) project and program management, implementing large scale projects, including working with multiple stakeholders on both business and technical projects.
DESIRED Skill Sets:
• PMP certification
• 1+ year Information Technology technical experience.
• 1+ year procurement experience
