Qualified candidates will have experience with the following:
1. Infrastructure-related solutions for various project and operational needs.
2. Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Cloud platform experiences like AWS, Azure
3. Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
4. Server build and configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting
5. Contribute to and maintain system standards.
6. Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
7. Server inventory tracking, reconciliation
8. Active Directory administration, account and security group management
9. Analyzes development and implementation requirements and makes appropriate modifications to existing systems and prepares specifications based on customer requests
10. Performs needs assessment and recommends or develops system improvements and prepares related documentation
11. Participates in a variety of special projects related to Information Technology
12. Should have good understanding of Networking concepts and protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTPS, CIFS, NFS)
13. Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 experience required (Hyper-V / vSphere and or VMWare experience a plus)
14. Solid networking and system administration experience with the understanding of Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and IDS/IPS is required
15. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
16. Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills and experience.
