Job Duties
- Works as a software developer on the Revenues project that provides services for receivables, payments, invoices, reports and administration for the Office of Fiscal Administration; performs analysis and design; works with business personnel to identify and document system software requirements; defines problems and develops potential solutions.
- Performs software implementation tasks, including source control and deployment activities; assists with development, implementation and monitoring IT quality assurance standards.
- Communicates with IT architects and developers; obtains or imparts information from/to other technical staff and business personnel through discussion(s) involving database, infrastructure and/or application information; participates in discussion(s) or formal meetings with technical and/or non-technical personnel on simple to moderate technical topics in support of software development.
Qualifications
- Experience in web-based software application development
- Skilled in Java; TypeScript; HTML, Oracle SQL
- Experience in Angular2+ framework
- Experience in Eclipse IDE; Visual Studio; SQL Developer (or comparabe IDE/tools)
- Experience or knowledge of Maven; GIT (or comparable systems/tools)
- Experience or knowledge of Agile software development process
