Role: The Enterprise Service Management (ESM) team at OIT is seeking a Business Process Analyst who will report directly to the Operations Manager to manage, on behalf of the State, all User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for maintenance, minor enhancements, and projects related to the enterprise ServiceNow platform. In addition, this person will create Business Requirements for customer requests for enhancements to ServiceNow.

Requirement Description:

This position will function as a highly skilled Business Process Analyst for the Ohio DAS OIT with specific responsibilities that include:

• Serve as UAT Lead for the State’s ServiceNow platform
• Business analysis and requirements elicitation for DAS and other agencies
• Develop and maintain the UAT Scenario library
• Plan and manage UAT cycles for maintenance releases, agency roll-outs, and many special projects on the ServiceNow platform
• Coordinate resolution of issues identified during UAT
• Report on UAT status and results
• Work with Program Administrator, Program Management, and Implementation Services Vendor to improve policies, practices, and procedures for all aspects of the ServiceNow platform
• Knowledge transfer and support to new ServiceNow team members, as requested

Experience:

• Experience in test design/management
• Experience in business analysis
• Demonstrated ability to set and maintain priorities
• Ability to develop strong client and working relationships with the team
• Experience working with government agencies is a plus

• Microsoft Excel
• Must have strong communication skills; both written and spoken
• Must have ability to work in a diverse and distributed team environment
Mandatory Requirements/Time:

• 4 years’ experience in business analysis and requirements elicitation
• 2 years’ experience leading a software development testing phase, preferably UAT
• Excellent technical writing skills (please provide a sample)
• Excellent planning and organizational skills (please provide a sample)
• Excellent presentation skills
• Successfully pass a criminal background check
Desired Skills/Time:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field
• Specialized training or study in software testing
