Requirement Description:
The ODT active project demand is currently greater than ODT’s PMO capacity. There are currently five active projects that require a project manager.
KANA Upgrade
Audit Logging for ASMT DB
Consolidate Code Repository
BRUTUS System Enhancements
DB2 zOS 12 Upgrade
Process project requests
Potentially work on any projects approved by the ODT IGB
The candidate will be required to perform the following for each active project assigned
Incorporate assigned projects into the ODT agile project management methodology
Obtain proper resources commitments from ODT resource managers for the projects
Complete work breakdowns for the requested scope of the project and document in Workfront
Complete roadmaps/timelines
Complete status reports, may include reports directly to steering committees
Document risks, issues and decisions for the project and escalate any project blockers to ODT management
Prepare presentations on the project status for groups of ODT management if requested
For this role ODT is looking for a resource that has strong skills in the following
Communication skills
Experience with agile project management methodologies (Scrum & Kanban)
Experience with project management tools (Workfront)
Knowledge of the PMBOK
Knowledge of Information Technology
Mandatory Requirements/Time
5 plus years of experience with IT project management.
2 plus years of experience with agile project management methodologies.
