Programmer 3 / PR3:
The Integration Specialist / Developer ideally would have extensive experience integrating multiple systems, requirement gathering, vendor management, report writing and exceptional debugging skills. Along with being well rounded in programming with the main knowledge skills in Microsoft C#, .NET Framework 2.0 to current version, ASP.NET languages (prefer ASP MVC) with experience developing using Test Driven Development (TDD).
The responsibilities are the oversite of multiple 3rd party and in-house applications that must work as one system, identify issues and resolve them working independently or with our vendors. Secondary responsibility can include tasks such as application development, report writing, new integrations and requirement gathering.
This resource must excel at working alone at a client’s location with little oversite and management with exceptional communication skills.
This a contract to hire role and the candidate must be willing/able to convert to a State Employee. (Converts to SDS3 role)
Required Skills include:
- 3+ years of experience integrating data across multiple applications
- 3+ years of experience working with vendors to troubleshoot and solve problems
- 3+ years of experience creating reports in SSRS, Crystal Reports or Cognos
- 3+ years of experience working with SSIS
- 3+ years of experience as a Developer/Programmer - .Net / C#
- 3+ years of experience of SQL
Preferred Skills:
- 2+ years of experience ASP MVC
- 2+ years of experience in Test Driven Development (TDD)
- 3+ years of experience creating test documentation and performing System Tests
- 2+ years of experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- 2+ years of experience in various java script libraries (JQuery, knockout, etc)
- 2+ years of experience developing in a service-oriented architecture (SOA)
- 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment.
- 2+ years of experience with creating technical documentation with application functionality and test methods
- 2+ years with test systems, i.e. user-acceptance testing, white box testing, black box testing, defect tracking to identify changes
- Knowledge of Scribe
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP
- General medical or pharmaceutical knowledge
