They are looking to add a Well-versed Technical Lead for the upcoming initiative

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership to State and contract project staff to support the agency mobile directives
    • Function as the unit decision point to address technical, process and functional issues
    • Develop and maintain a predictable and collaborative team communication model
    • Identify and develop initiatives to address barriers to performance and commitment goals
    • Ensure team technical competencies with OIS mobile practices and processes
    • Operate as a model for work ethic and professionalism
  • Develop, monitor and direct activities that meet Software Engineering objectives and specific mobility goals
    • Adjust staff resources and capabilities to meet delivery objectives
    • Create planning roadmaps and presentations
    • Participate in planning objectives of Software Engineering
    • Ensure processes are appropriate to deliver and support high quality mobile solutions
  • Drive the delivery of mobile products and the integration into program workflows
    • Exercise effective Project Management tools to provide execution transparency
    • Identify & manage dependencies within and across portfolios
    • Develop and maintain an effective escalation process
    • Assist with prioritization and adoption of process changes
    • Maintain and drive high level functional technical expertise within applicable mobile frameworks
  • Build effective partnerships across lines of business within OIS
    • Build and maintain strong relationships pillar colleagues
    • Participate in Project Management, DevOps, Operations and County governance activities
    • Develop skills and leverage staff to provide partner subject matter expertise
  • Advocate Software Engineering standards, repeatable process and level of expertise
    • Support the implementation of modular design and development
    • Support and enhance the implementation of quality delivery standards
    • Support, develop and implementation process and technical innovation as operating practice
    • Drive the implementation of the Agile development method within the unit
    • Provide management oversight and direction in support of technical requirements for Production Support

Required:

  1. Six years’ experience directing providing staff direction to develop and support technical software solutions
  2. Five years’ experience supporting portfolio of complex/mission critical applications
  3. Five years’ experience providing daily technical and/or operation direction a staff of four or more
  4. Three years’ experience driving organization change process and/or implementation of continuous process improvement
  5. Two years’ experience in develop/implementing and supporting mobile solutions
  6. Demonstrated experience in defining the User Interface for the mobile experience
