Work:   Location Rhodes Tower 30 East Broad St Columbus Ohio
Role:   This Role will involve travel to and from Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo and Akron. Travel is about 20% and will vary based on need. State will provide State car for travel and cell phone. State vehicle will only be used for work related travel. May also need to Respond to emergencies 24 hours/day, 7 days/weeks which may require overtime or call back.

Requirement Description:

• Provide technical expertise, guidance, support and innovative solutions for the installation and sustainment of building specific IT assets, infrastructure and electronic systems (e.g., computer automated parking garage systems, fire system monitoring systems, building automation systems, video/camera systems, card access systems, emergency panic alarm systems, elevator control system monitoring, structured cable plan, SharePoint design/sustainment, building lock systems) in multi-tenant properties administered by the Office of Properties and Facilities (OPF)
• Work with teams to ensure all OPF building specific IT assets, electronic systems and infrastructure are: connected to DAS Local-Area Network (LAN) and the Wide-Area Network (WAN) so that building systems can effectively exchange information using TCP/IP (e.g., file transfer, electronic data interchange, computer network management) within the DAS network using the managed network solution; compatible and compliant with managed services and network; compliant with policies; provide tenant customers with facility space that is competitive to the private market
• Independently analyzes & resolves complex problems involving building specific routers, TCP/IP, Cicso IOS (Internet Operating System), switches and LAN/WAN interconnectivity by troubleshooting & isolating problem & taking corrective action.
• Serves as a liaison between OPF and Office of Information Technology (OIT) to coordinate new services and repairs.
• Prepares written reports of all systems and the network capabilities at each facility.
• Installs, services, diagnoses, calibrates, repairs & performs preventative maintenance on electronic equipment in DAS buildings (e.g., video/camera systems, card access systems, emergency panic alarm systems, structured cable plan, building lock systems)
• Assists in the development of preventive maintenance programs and procedures to maintain electronic systems and related equipment.
• Completes electronic systems maintenance and repair duties.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics and technical diagrams

Interview:
During the interview process with the DAS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance. Resource will have a background check conducted by DAS.

Mandatory Requirements/Time:

• 3-5 years of experience working with IT assets, infrastructure and electronic systems (e.g., computer automated parking garage systems, fire system monitoring systems, building automation systems, video/camera systems, card access systems, emergency panic alarm systems, elevator control system monitoring, structured cable plan, SharePoint design/sustainment, building lock systems)
• 3-5 years of experience supporting LAN and WAN Networks. effectively exchange information using TCP/IP (e.g., file transfer, electronic data interchange, computer network management)
• 3-5 years of experience, Cicso IOS (Internet Operating System), switches and LAN/WAN.
