Requirement Description:

The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) Infrastructure Management Team and specifically, the ServiceNow product.

This position will function as a highly skilled ServiceNow Administrator with specific responsibilities that include:
• Oversee, configure and implement architectural solutions in ODOT’s ServiceNow ITSM module to meet business needs
• Maintain the long-term vision of solutions on the ServiceNow platform
• Perform day-to-day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow module
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions for continual service improvement.
• Monitor system stability and performance metrics to prevent service degradation or interruption
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related issues and resolution of issues.
• Participate in day-to-day interactions with client management and interface with senior management.
• Identify opportunities for and implement service improvements across all functional areas (e.g. – training, knowledge management, documentation, service desk processes)
• Maintain expert knowledge on the ServiceNow platform, technical services and utilities
• Manage ServiceNow version updates and new releases which includes testing, documentation, analysis of new functionality and implementation of the release across TEST and PROD regions.
• Provide mentoring and training to peers within IT

Experience:
1. Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Workflow, Report Generation, Performance Analytics and Integrations.
2. Experience with enterprise architecture domains
3. Experience with full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations.
4. Extensive experience guiding the Development team on complex development projects
5. Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Experience configuring and implementing ServiceNow solutions, leveraging all appropriate components offered by ServiceNow to meet specific business needs or custom scripting solutions.
7. Experience with integration design of enterprise software applications
8. Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
Mandatory Requirements/Time:

4-year college degree in computer science or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience as a ServiceNow system administrator, including ServiceNow IT service management (ITSM) experience
• 3+ years’ experience supporting enterprise ServiceNow installations
• 3-5 years’ experience with ServiceNow integrations
• 3-5 years’ experience in ServiceNow scripting and Web technologies (JavaScript, XML, HTML, etc.)
• Ability to communicate solutions to IT Leadership
• ITIL v3 Foundations Certified

ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
