Project Description:
Modify Web applications to be compliant with the accessibility standards established by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level A and Level AA (Section 508).
The programmer is responsible for modifying department's new and legacy applications to meet 508 compliance. Some of the applications are using .Net frame work 4.0/4.5 with service oriented architecture and front-end using JQuery, KnockoutJS, and Bootstrap. Department has many Legacy applications that are in old versions of VB.net or classic ASP.
Experience requirement:
. A full understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and specifications.
. Experience in improving and remediating accessibility using web-based technology including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
. Experience in using accessibility evaluation tools and different screen reader software.
. 6 Years of experience in front-end development using CSS, HTML and JavaScript
. 3 Years of experience in ASP.Net, C#.net,VB.net
. 1 Year experience in using classic ASP
