Requirement Description:
The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation’s Infrastructure Management Team and specifically, the ServiceNow platform.
This position will function as a highly skilled Senior Level ServiceNow developer with specific responsibilities that include:
• Implement a ServiceNow module - PPM
• Custom development and implementation of an office supply ordering system (WOSS) for ODOT’s Facilities Management Division
• Provide key technical insight in the designing and supporting ServiceNow applications while aligning to Service Management best practices
• Understand technical requirement and design workflows
• Test, analyze, collaborate and assist with translating business requirements into technical requirements to ensure a smooth implementation of applications or modules.
• Provide expertise on all technical questions related to development of SNow.
Experience:
1. Expertise in scripting languages (JavaScript, etc.)
2. Expertise in Web technologies
3. Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules
4. Advanced experience with ServiceNow implementations and a proven track record in ITSM technologies.
5. Experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications
6. Expertise level programming skills
7. System integration experience using web services and other web based technologies
8. Possess excellent communication skills; both oral and written skills including
strong meeting and work session skills.
9. Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
10. Demonstrate proven experience in troubleshooting issues.
Mandatory Requirements/Time:
4-year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study preferred.
• Minimum 3-years of JavaScript experience and 3+ years working on a web development project.
• Minimum 3-years of ServiceNow specific development
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in ServiceNow configuration in creating/extending tables, designing/maintaining workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, notifications, report set up, and data imports.
• ITL v3 Foundations Certification
• A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL or CMBD
