Job Description:
BWC needs a network security generalist with background and experience in IDS, along with a general network understanding.
Perform as an Architect in designing solutions based on needs keeping things such as PCI, etc. criteria in mind.
Required Experience:
Five or more years of experience in the following:
• Manage and configure QRadar SIEM
• Manage and configure McAfee IDS
• Manage and Configure F5 ASM
• TCP Traffic Analysis (TCPdump, WireShark, WildPackets)
• General Network Administration and Network Management.
• General Security issues/alerts monitoring, researching and troubleshooting.
One or more years of experience in the following:
• Providing DMZ and network security design considerations and suggestions to the Network Team.
• Nice to Have: Manage and configure Web Application Firewalls.
• Nice to Have: Manage and configure VPN Environment with Cisco ASA (IPSEC/SSL, remote VPN, Site to Site VPN).
Additional Requirements:
• At least 3 years’ experience using Microsoft Applications; Word, Outlook, Excel
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
• Ability to work with others in a team setting
Desired Skills:
• 3 years of TCP Traffic Analysis
• 1 year IDS experience
• 1 year Experience switch/router management
• 1 year Desired VPN – IPSEC/SSL experience
• 1 year Cisco ASR experience
