Systems Administrator:
Day-to Day Tasks include but not limited to:
- Knowledge with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), the team uses this to push out windows security updates, software distribution and troubleshooting desktop issues using remote control and/or remote desktop.
- Ability to Monitor and Troubleshoot complex problems related to the network
- Knowledge of network equipment including hubs, routers, switches and servers (VMWare)
- This role supports both internal and external users. A strong customer service attitude is highly useful.
- Response to high disk usage notifications on hard drives for DSA servers
- Review daily backup report and verify backups were completed and resolve any related issue.
- Interaction with Symantec Management Center for BlueCoat, DSA’s web filter.
- Assist in the User – Group – Computer provisioning process.
- Will need to interact with FIM (our email management tool), acts as the agency contact for our servers at the SOCC.
Technical Requirements:
- Monitor Servers system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Manage and Monitoring Application issues on Servers
- Web Server and SSL Certs Renewals and working issues
- QRadar and Qualys report monitoring and fixing issues when needed
- Windows update Management
- Provide L1/L2 support in multiple Desktop/Network issue scenarios
- Work with OIT Teams on Exchange/McAfee/Networking/FIM/RDirectory/VoIP issues alongside Health to manage 2 regionals in Health Network
- Active Directory/Group Policy/DNS and DHCP Management
- McAfee new products testing and Working with OIT on finding resolution
- SCCM related Fixes and updates and finding ways to create new reporting
- Create/Manage scripts on Inventory/Management of Enterprise hardware
- Wasp Inventory software application fixes
- Deploy and Manage Mobile Devices Enterprise wide and also learn AirWatch deployment for Future deployment in the Agency
- Manage Production/Guest Wireless alongside Barracuda web filters and Wireless Controller
- Work with OIT Teams on Networking hardware related incidents to minimize outage in times of Hardware faults
- Work with OIT Engineers on designing Backups specific to Agency
- IBM AppScan implementation in the Agency and working on fixing Security issues by working with the Apps Team
- Work with OIT teams on new software/hardware implementations like SolidCore/ISILON/TDP-SQL and new once yet to be implemented.
- Provide 24/7 support to Enterprise servers/Networking/Security in case of P1 and P2 incidents
