Job Description:
The Department of Administrative Services requires a testing lead for the Enterprise
eLicense Ohio project. This position will work as part of a larger project team (state
project team, system integrator, independent advisor) and the customers (Boards &
Commissions) that are migrating into the eLicense Ohio system. This position will assist
in coordination of user acceptance testing activities with multiple concurrent testing
groups.
Job Duties:
Adhere to existing testing processes
Act as key point of contact for User Acceptance Testing of releases, providing
test services and coordinating testing internally and externally
Document and communicate testing procedures to testers
Manage multiple simultaneous testing groups
Create and provide feedback on test cases, scripts, plans and procedures
Write test scripts, test scenarios, test plans and procedures
Track defects from discovery to resolution
Ensure all testing work is carried out in accordance with test plan and schedule
Provide feedback to the Systems Integrator on the implications of testing
outcomes on the systems
Respond to all requests from stakeholders in a timely professional manner
Communicate results of testing to peers and management
Interview:
During the interview process with the DAS staff, the resource consultant must
demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment.
The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification.
Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be
sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror
to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance.
Mandatory Requirements/Time:
College diploma or university degree in software engineering, computer science, or
business administration
4+ years of testing or equivalent experience in the following:
Experience working with TFS (User Story, Test Case, Test Plan, Defect Logging,
etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good demeanor with people in difficult situations
Experience writing Test Scripts and Test Scenarios
Ability to manage test packages for multiple testing groups simultaneously (i.e.
10 agencies, board or commissions)
Ability to manage schedules of multiple concurrent testing groups (i.e. 10
agencies, board or commissions)
Experience with defect reporting, scheduling defect retests, etc.
Strong leadership skills (ability to guide both project and user testers)
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge and experience of the Salesforce platform is preferred but not
required
