Requirement Description:

1. Adhere to existing QA processes
2. Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing test services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
3. Create and Provide feeback on test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated). Responsible for executing them.
4. Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.
5. Ensure all testing work is carried out in accordance with the Testing Plan, including schedule and quality requirements
6. Provide feedback to the Systems Implementer on the implications of testing outcomes on the systems
7. Respond to all requests from stakeholders in a timely professional manner.

Mandatory Requirements/Time:

1. Understand program, policy, practice  and business operational functions within state or local government  Medicaid - Mandatory
2. Experience with Medicaid – Mandatory
3. 5 years direct experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of testing standards.
4. 5+ years direct experience leading large software testing efforts major application integration and/or major application product release.
5. Experience planning and executing tests in phased and agile approaches.
6. Direct hands-on experience with ad hoc query programs, automated testing tools, and reporting software.
7. Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
8. Experience using IBM Rational Team Concert/Quality Manager for script and defect management - Preferred
9. Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement and automate processes
10. Experience coordinating with external QA resources
11. Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found
12. Highly organized, detail oriented, extremely responsive and able to prioritize a large number of tasks
13. Self-motivated, works well independently and with others

Education & Experience

1. College diploma or university degree in software engineering, computer science, or business administration and/or 5+ years equivalent work experience.
