Role:
We are looking for a talented Web Designer/Front End Developer to help us create a beautiful and easy to use website for the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Development. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design as
Well as ability to create semantic, responsive, cross-browser mark-up.

Break Down of Work:
-Designing and implementing a modern, easy to use, customer friendly website for the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Education – 80%
-Gathering requirements and prototyping – 20%

Requirement Description:
-Conceptualize original website design ideas and execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off
-Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
-Create standards-compliant, cross-browser and cross-platform implementation
-Optimize applications for maximum speed
-Create quality mockups and prototypes

Mandatory Requirements/Time:
At least 5 years of experience in the following areas are required

Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong portfolio and proven work experience
Experience designing and implementing modern, easy to use websites. 
Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript
Proficiency with browser testing and debugging as well as user acceptance testing
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques and technologies
Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
BS/MS in human-computer interaction, interaction design, visual arts, computer science, or relevant field
