39567: Columbus, OH – IT – JFS – Tester 3/Test3

JFS is looking for TWO candidates to fulfill a Tester 3 assignment through the fiscal year (6/30) but potential extensions are likely, for an additional 12 months.

Deadline to submit resumes: Friday, 4/1 at 10amEST
MUST be available to test onsite: Tuesday, 4/5 at 9am sharp. A maximum of 15 candidates will be sent to the Client Manager and scheduled for technical screenings. Dependent upon test scores, candidates will be immediately interviewed face-to-face by Client Managers for 20-30 minutes. Interviews should conclude at or before 1pm. DO NOT SUBMIT candidates unavailable to commit their Thursday morning to the screening process onsite.

Interview Process: TOP Candidates forwarded to the Manager must be available for an on-site computer based skills test that will take 70mins followed by a 20-30 min F2F interview for those with the highest score. The testing location is ODJFS at 4020 E. Fifth Ave, Columbus Ohio 43219.

Additionally, the Purchase Order creation process at JFS could take up to 3 weeks. Please set this expectation with candidates prior to submitting. Candidates will not be eligible to begin working until a Purchase Order is in place. PLAN ACCORDINGLY as start dates will be a bit further out than other agencies.

TESTER 3 (OJI) Job Duties:

1.Serve as system test lead for OWCMS (Ohio Workforce Case Management Systems) system testing projects; assist unit manager in defining, planning, designing and executing tests, preparing and managing statistical and status reports for higher level managers

2.Research and review system design and technical documentation in order to develop detailed system test estimate, design and planning documents

3.Prepare formal written test estimates

4.Develop and maintain: requirements traceability matrices, system test plans, system test scenarios and manual and automated scripts

5.Execute manual and automated functional, regression and performance tests, analyze outcomes, and support resolution to successful completion of tests

6.Prepare and manage system test data

7.Manage software deployments to test environments and prepare associated documentation

8.Document and communicate test status and results

9.Deliver adhoc written and oral presentations related to system testing

10.Attend project meetings and debrief management and team members on meeting content

Required Skills/Experience:
1.Minimum of two (2) years experience serving as a system test lead for a large complex JAVA and or .NET application
2.Minimum of three (3) years experience testing to include (test planning, test development (test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios), and test execution) for large, complex multi-platform applications.
3.Minimum of two (2) years experience using HP Mercury test tools. (i.e. Quality Center, Performance Center, Load Runner, QTP)
4.Minimum of two (2) years experience using office automation and project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Visio, Microsoft Office and other tool sets.
5.Minimum of two (2) years experience using database query tools and writing SQL. (i.e. Toad, AQT, etc.)
6.Minimum of three (3) years experience performing system testing of large complex JAVA applications
7.Minimum of three (3) years experience performing system testing of large complex .NET applications.
8.Minimum of 2 years' experience analyzing and executing batch processing jobs
Desired Skills/Experience:
1. One year or more previous experience testing OWCMS (Ohio Workforce Case Management Systems) application
