40% of Total Work Effort: Candidate will be responsible for managing Financials implementation effort (must have 5+ years of experience with large-scale PeopleSoft Financials design as well as implementation)
20% of Total Work Effort: Candidate should have vendor management experience, will be responsible for managing and coordinating all vendor activities
20% of Total Work Effort: Reviewing deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance and preparing status reports (must have proven work experience creating these items using Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio)
20% of Total Work Effort: Full lifecycle ERP implementation (must have proven work experience from requirements definition through implementation)
Ohio Department of Transportation Division of Information Technology The candidate will manage the Financials implementation of The Ohio Department of Transportation’s OAKSenterprise program. The Program Manager’s primary responsibility will be to lead the entire Financials implementation effort from start to finish including coordinating the activities with system stakeholders and the implementation contractor. The selected Program Manager will ensure that the program is completed on schedule and that the final product meets the business, technical, quality, and contractual requirements. Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study Technical Skills: REQUIRED: At least 8 years’ ERP Project/Program Management experience including within the public sector At least 5 years’ experience with large-scale PeopleSoft Financials design and implementation including procurement functionality At least 4 years’ experience with full lifecycle ERP implementation projects from requirements definition through implementation At least 3 years’ experience hands-on expertise with Microsoft Office products including Project and Visio Demonstrable outstanding verbal and written communication skills PREFERRED: Current PMP certification Department of Transportation experience Role Description:
