Project Name: This position will serve as UAT Test Manager to help oversee testing across the entire OMES Program
SCOPE OF WORK summary:
Responsible for coordinating and monitoring testing activities across all vendors and stakeholder groups involved with test activities. This will include, but not limited to:
Reviewing vendor schedules to ensure adequate time is allotted for testing activities specially UAT
Reviewing and critiquing test plans to align them with PMO intentions and needs
Develop ODM UAT EDI Test management plan
Define methodology for UAT test case development, review, and execution
Develop UAT defect management process
Align roles and responsibilities for all stakeholders involved with UAT
Work with vendors to define which tools will support UAT
Support contract monitoring activities to ensure vendor compliance around vendor testing SLAs
Other related testing closeout activities
Detailed Day-To-Day Job Duties to be performed:
Serve as System test lead for EDI module/interface; Define, plan, design and execute
tests; Prepare and manage status reports for unit managers and higher level managers
Research and review system design and technical documentation in order to develop
detailed UAT test estimate, design and planning documents
Review and sign off on all phases of test scenarios, cases, and results
Develop and maintain: UAT test plans, test scenarios and manual and automated scripts
Execute manual and automated UAT tests, analyze outcomes, and support resolution to
successful completion of tests
Ensure training and demos are provided to testers & business users
Document and communicate test status and results; Track and validate defects and work with the team on resolution
Participation in defect triage
Assist in the planning and control of the test environments
Prepare and manage UAT test data
Coordinate and manage end-to-end UAT
Attend project meetings and debrief management and team members on meeting content
Work collaboratively with all OMES Modules Test leads & members to plan and execute
test processes that align with business timelines.
Strong Expertise in Testing methodologies and Ability to resolve team Queries by
interacting with various stakeholders
Broad functional understanding of the assigned platform / program area
Work with Test Team members to enhance their testing skills and build technical and
business knowledge
Deliver ad hoc written and oral presentations related to UAT testing
Effective communication with peers and managers
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline
Minimum of two (2) years of experience serving as a system test lead for a large complex application
Minimum of Four (4) years of experience testing to include (test planning, test
development (test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios), and test execution) for large,
complex multi-platform application
Minimum of four (4) years of experience using QA Automation Tools such as JIRA/JAMA
Minimum of four (4) years of experience using office automation and project planning
tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Visio, Microsoft Office and other tool
sets.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience performing system testing of large complex
applications
Minimum of 2 years of experience analyzing and executing batch processing jobs and
Healthcare EDI Transactions
Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing SOAP/REST WebAPIs / WebServices
using Postman or any related tool
REQUIRED Skill Sets: 4 to 5 years as Team lead, and 1 to 2 years project management
experience
DESIRED Skill Sets: UAT experience with end to end testing EDI X12 transactions using JIRA/JAMA testing tools Functional or Technical Certifications as deemed appropriate for specialization preferred
