Requirement Description:
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is looking for an experienced
and ambitious Quality Assurance Specialist to join the team. As a Quality Assurance
Specialist contractor, you will be responsible for ensuring quality and verifying that the
developed solution meets the business requirements. You will write the automated test
strategy, plan and scripts, and, for each application, schedule the tests for execution.
Responsibilities will also include to monitor, measure, control and report on testing
progress, product quality status, test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as
needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
This position will function as a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist with
responsibilities that include:
Lead and participate in establishing automated testing solutions
Design, execute and maintain automated test scripts
Develop and maintain: requirements traceability matrices, system test plans,
system test scenarios, regression test plans and test scripts (both manual and
automated) based on software requirements and technical specifications
Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; write and
refine regression test plans
Document and report test results
Assist with the analysis of the results of automated test scripts
Assist with the analysis of bug fixes/issues, with ability to lead small groups of IT
and business staff for troubleshooting, problem resolution and brainstorming for
available solutions
Lead and participate in system testing and ensure solutions meet business needs
and requirements prior to user acceptance testing
Participate in defining system implementation and user-acceptance test plans
Work closely with QA Manager and Project Managers to ensure successful project
delivery

Mandatory Requirements/Time:
4 year college degree in computer information systems or equivalent technical
study
6+ years of QA testing experience with industry standard quality assurance
methodologies, verification and validation processes
3+ years of business process analysis
hands-on experience with test automation development in industry test
automation framework (Selenium preferred)
hands-on experience in test automation design and development involving GUI,
API and back-end database verification
Experience with Continuous Integration testing tools
Experience with automated mobile testing utilizing cloud-based solutions
Competency in Microsoft applications including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and Outlook
