| Requirement Description: | Responsibilities include: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring, Controlling and
Closing the projects that are assigned.
This PM4 will be responsibilities for managing the following projects: 1. Teradata Upgrade – This is a large contract with a vendor for an upgrade that will take up to six months. This system is used to produce state-wide statistics and prevent fraud. 2. FileNet Upgrade – FileNet contains images of our correspondences with taxpayers. This system is critical to our ability to administer taxes. This system needs to be upgraded to remain current. This project will be done with existing resources. 3. PeopleSoft Upgrade – This system produces most of our revenue accounting data for our business taxes. This system needs to be upgraded to remain current. The team is working on an RFP for this effort. This project may or may not be assigned to this new PM based on his or her skills and ability to adapt to our environment.
4. Methodology – We would also like this person to assist us with our methodology. We currently utilize waterfall and agile. This person will be asked to examine what we do and make recommendation on improvement. |
