Requirement Description:

The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) is looking for an experienced, skilled, and motivated System Administrator to join the team. As System Administrator contractor, she or he is responsible for implementing and managing required infrastructure, unified communication, contact center, and endpoint devices in ODA’s COVID-19 initiatives to support aging community.

This position will function as a highly skilled System Engineer that include:

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoints and gateways in an enterprise network.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office 365, Sky for Business, Microsoft Teams.
• Hands on knowledge and able to effectively/efficiently troubleshoot ODA’s unified communication solution.
• Hands on experience in Contact Center implementation and support.
• Strong presentation development and delivery skills
Work closely with other business units/organizations to implement and complete projects and tasks
Participates in assignments and projects with minimal direction from higher level resources
• Provide direct support in daily network and systems operations including the evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time, and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems.
• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
• Provide device management via Airwatch MDM
• Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
• Provide network data collection to support application troubleshooting
• Provide configuration recommendations and assistance to include troubleshooting and de-bugging support for implementation projects and initiatives.
• Work closely with internal and external users, and outside vendors to effectively plan, deploy, and maintain production environment.
• Responsible for the endpoint device deployment
• Write and edit automation scripts to increase systems and task efficiency
• Write and maintain technical documentation

Experience • Excellent knowledge of unified communication technology
• Excellent knowledge of Contact Center infrastructure
• Excellent knowledge of wireless access points, network administration and security concepts and technology
• Strong knowledge of deployment and management systems
• Ability to drive results with a sense of urgency relative to the end user
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Ability to break down required tasks in project deployment
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public
• Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Mandatory Requirements/Time

• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
• 10+ years of system/server engineer experience
• 10+ years of network infrastructure experience
• 10+ years of unified communication engineer experience
• 10+ years of Microsoft Office Product supports
• 10+ years of End Point Device Support
• 5+ years of AirWatch MDM support
• Professional Certification in server, and/or network, and/or endpoint or is desired
