78522: Columbus, OH – IT – DMH – Database Administrator 4/DBA4

DMH (MHA) is seeking a temporary DBA4 for a long-term ongoing assignment (dependent upon performance)

NFP Rate: $57.72

Interviews will be conducted via Skype or Teams
Assignment will initially be remote, though candidate must be local to Columbus. Once employees return to the office onsite, this Temporary Worker will also be expected to report to work onsite with the remainder of the staff.

Job Title: Database Administrator 4 (DBA4)
Job Description: Work will be performed Offsite to start with Offsite and /or Onsite based on COVID-19 Pandemic circumstances. Hybrid application development/database administration position. 7 years of experience. SQL Server. Primary focus will be on SQL development with some SQL operations activity.

Preferred Experience:
• Application Development
o Agile project team member
o Translation of business requirements to application database design
o Create and revise logical and physical databased design documentation
o Development of complex stored procedures for application data access
o Analysis and execution of data migrations from legacy applications
o Data warehouse/reporting solutions design
o Contribution to continuous process improvement
o Database deployment using Visual Studio SQL Server Data Tools
o git source control

• Database Administration
o SQL Server installation, configuration, version upgrades, patching
o Capacity planning
o Performance monitoring/tuning
o Data security – HIPAA compliance, user administration, encryption, masking, auditing
o Records retention/archival policy
o Business continuity/disaster recovery strategy
o Contribution to DBA team standards and best practices
