Microsoft Dynamics CRM was selected as the primary platform for the solution development for several major DODD initiatives including imagine, Review Data System, and Level of Care. imagineIS is the DODD person centered tool for managing discovery, outcomes, case notes and individual service plan generation. This nationally recognized application is scheduled for continued development in FY 20 to build out required functionality including incident reporting and needed refinements. The Level of Care application has an integrated .Net portal but utilizes MS Dynamics CRM for the core of LOC entry. This enterprise level application is critical to entry, logging and tracking of LOC status for support of 2 billion dollars in Medicaid claims annually. Further integration with the Ohio Benefits project will further increase the importance of this application. The RDS application is also extremely important as it allows internal department staff to perform compliance reviews on over 15,000 Medicaid providers. RDS has been extended to be used by Ohio Department of Health (ODH) to perform compliance reviews on ICF facilities. This application reduces paper, eases communications and centralizes data. County staff interact with the citation reports through the associated portal. DODD also has the Restrictive Measure Application and the County Board Cost report systems that are built on the MS Dynamics CRM platform. As noted above the DODD assessment center that includes AAI, DDP, PASRR, State funded behavior add-on, prior authorization and Nursing Task Assessments are currently under development as well. The decision to utilize MS Dynamics CRM was based on Configurability; Ease of customization; Time to market; Out of the box functionality that addressed usability and privacy concerns; and ability to interact with legacy data stores via service layer and ETL tools (SCRIBE). With the MS Dynamics CRM effort DODD has utilized contract staff to work with DODD staff as part of a “blended team” to develop the solutions noted above. Project in this space align with the DODD project management portfolio entries.
