RPA Technical Specialist

The Department of Developmental Disabilities is embarking on a proof of concept for implementing Robotic Process Automaton (RPA) for various areas and is need of four (4) Technical Specialist to assist with implementation of UiPath.  This effort will establish an RPA solution to step through clients plans to apply new rates for services.  Work will comprise translating the online steps into UiPath and scheduling the execution as required for each of the county boards.  In addition, work will include training DODD staff to identify opportunities and implement the technology in other areas.  Individuals presented for this unit of work must have demonstrated experience implementing RPA solutions and experience with UiPath.

 Job Overview:    Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and drive implementation of RPA that is in alignment with business needs to reduce manual processes.
  • Provide general project management support and develop approach for implementing UiPath, work with DODD subject matter experts and establish requirements.
  • Develop RPA processes and standards that will enable DODD to identify additional opportunities and implement RPA solutions.

Scope of Activities:

  • Provide strategic consultation to business and IT management and aligning RPA with strategies by implementing UiPath to process rate change steps within the application online system.
  • Gather requirements and translate manual operations into UiPath
  • Develop quality controls to insure that the RPA process is working as expected.
  • Conduct testing of the RPA processes.
  • Establish best practices and standards for using RPA.
  • Assess RPA needs working with business units and develop strategy for best course of action and overall design of the RPA implementation.
  • Conduct learning sessions for DODD on the use of RPA.

 

 Skills and Credentials:

  • Experience developing RPA solutions using UiPath for large organizations.
  • Ability to present and communicate both business and technical concepts.
  • Experience leading efforts to create technology solutions and architectures using RPA technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical and conceptual skills developing strategy for RPA solutions for a variety of projects.
  • Seven years of Information Technology experience in project management and development roles.
  • Five (5)+ years leading projects and/or working with RPA technology.
  • Three (3) + years leading and/or performing quality assurance using UiPath.
  • Three (3)+ years with Azure and Microsoft
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience;
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
