Role:  SAR1 (Senior Architect 1) (Core) with expertise in experience in web development using Microsoft .NET technologies.)

Requirement Description

  • The selected Consultant will work closely with the designated IT architects, supervisor, project managers and other developers in an agile development environment. The work scope of the consultant will include designing, developing, and implementing application infrastructure to provide highly-complex, reliable, and scalable applications and systems to meet the organization’s objectives and requirements.
    - The Consultants, in working with ODPS staff, will be responsible for assisting with leading DPS IT into advanced Microsoft development techniques such as containers and micro services, DevOps principles such as Release Management, and DPS’s journey to the Azure and/or AWS cloud.
    - Candidates who qualify for this position should have experience in data modeling, integration, deployment, operations, testing, reviewing code against standards, researching new technologies, strong communication skills, balancing technical consistency vs. team autonomy, UI/UX, application development, and have primarily a development background.
    - These applications include a 3-tiered architecture and comply with ODPS coding standards.
    Interview:

During the interview process with the ODPS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance.

 Mandatory Requirements/Time:

1. 5 years of verifiable experience as a Senior .Net Web Developer from 4.6.x to .net core 3.0 utilizing the ASP.NET MVC Framework at least 4 years
2. 5 years of verifiable .Net experience utilizing C – Sharp (C#)
3. 2 years of verifiable experience with TFS/Azure Devops/Git
4. 2 years of verifiable experience with object oriented mapping (ORM)
5. 2 years of verifiable experience with mobile technology, web technologies, desktop app technologies such as WPF, UWP, Xamarin, etc
6. 2 years of verifiable experience with Branching strategy, Release, Build servers
7. 5 years of verifiable experience with SQL Server Database Design and development including optimization of queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
8. 2 years of experience developing a project within the AGILE methodology.
9. 2 years of verifiable experience developing web applications utilizing the 4.0 .Net Framework or higher.
10. 2 year of verifiable Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience developing and securing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
11. 3 year experience or a demonstrable understanding of N-tier environments as it relates to development, security and deployment.
12. 2 year experience or a demonstrable understanding of code repository strategies, code promotion strategies, code reviews and recovery using Team Foundation Server.
13. 2 years of verifiable experience implementing Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) enabled controls within Active Server Pages (ASP).Net Web applications.
14. 1 year of verifiable experience with distributed transactions.
15. 1 year of verifiable experience developing on systems with high volumes as it relates to concurrent users and size of data referenced.
16. Verifiable understanding of DB strategy and concepts including SQL, NoSQL and In memory DB
17. Verifiable understanding of Monolithic, Containers, Microservices, Orchestration, understanding of cloud platforms (*aaS)
18. Verifiable experience on at least one project where the consultant was the architect and involved from the planning stages until implementation.
