Requirement Description:
The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) Information Technology ServiceNow Delivery Team and SPECIFICALLY, THE SERVICENOW PRODUCT.
This position will function as a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer within the Department of Information Technology. Potential projects include:
• Externally-facing consultant evaluation system
• Service Catalog item development
• Third-party application implementation assistance
• Custom solutions for internal customers
Experience:
• Ability to design and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform that satisfy business requirements communicated in writing and/or verbally
• Ability to troubleshoot/debug platform issues using the System Logs and/or debugging tools.
• Ability to use various browser-based debugging tools (ex: Chrome, IE, Firefox)
• AngularJS experience as it relates to the Service Portal
• Ability to conduct demos with client stakeholders and elicit feedback.
• Ability to work in an Agile project management environment
Mandatory Requirements/Time:
8+ years over all development experience
• 3+ years ServiceNow Client and Server JavaScript coding experience (Ex. Catalog Client Script, Business Rules, Script Actions, Script Includes, UI Pages, JellyScripts, etc.)
• 3+ years ServiceNow Client and Server Scripting API’s (Ex: GlideDialogWindow, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, etc.)
• 3+ years’ experience building custom workflows
• 3+ years’ experience building custom UI pages using HTML/CSS/AJAX
• 3+ years HTML/CSS/AJAX development experience
• 3+ years role/group-based ACL’s configuration and debugging
• 1+ years’ Service Portal development (Ex: Widgets, Service Portal Pages, AngularJs)
