BWC has multiple security and IT projects that need an experienced project manager to manage projects to completion. With the restarting of governance under the new administration BWC is beginning many major initiatives as well as supporting the everyday projects. The volume of projects has made a significant workload on current PM staff. A PM2 is needed to assist with projects including but not limited to correspondence, MCO imaging, website security, external SharePoint security and other projects.

BWC needs a Program Manager experienced with managing multiple projects to lead BWC forward. BWC will be managing many large initiatives and needs an experienced PM to assist in the implementation of these projects. The PM will be responsible for managing a project from initiation to closing. The projects will include working with business leads, sponsor, IT management, PMO management, and project teams. The projects will include working with the IT security team closely to implement security projects and technical IT teams. More details will be discussed with the successful candidate. This PM must possess knowledge in project management for guiding the projects from initiation to closing. This would include creating project plans and reporting out to governance.

Candidate will work with IT management to develop and manage a project to ensure the project meets established timelines. The candidate will also work with the PMO office on reporting out to sponsors and the governance committee. On a daily basis the candidate will gather requirements, lead meetings, develop a detailed project schedule, follow up on uncompleted tasks, provide reports to management, provide communications to impacted areas, and ensure that the BWC PMO project policies and procedures are being followed.

Mandatory SKILLS
.  5 yrs. exp. in project management (i.e., management & development of project/program requirements, design, development, testing/pilot, training & full scale implementation), with experience to be commensurate with project/program &/or position description on file ( e.g., specific human service program area, management information sciences, fiscal); .  12 mos. exp. in budgeting & calculating cost projections of program/projects.

This will be a 12 month engagement with an option to extend up to one additional year. Interviews are scheduled for the week of August 5th and if necessary, the week of August 12th. All work is conducted on site.
