Requirement Description:
The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) is looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Analysts to join the team. As Business Analysts contractor, she or he is responsible for ensuring quality and that the developed solution meets the business requirements. She or he will write the test strategy, plan and scripts and for each application schedule the tests for execution, then monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
This position will function as a highly skilled Business Analyst that include:
• Develop and document application test plans and scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications
• Assist with the analysis of bug fixes/issues, with ability to lead small groups of IT and business staff for troubleshooting, problem resolution and brainstorming for available solutions
• Lead and participate in system testing and ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements prior to user acceptance testing
• Document and report test results
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
• Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
• Participate in defining system implementation and user-acceptance test plans
• Conducts final quality analysis on programs, reviewing accuracy of output
• Understand and negotiate the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Create training materials and participate in End User training
• Work closely with Project Sponsors and Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery

Mandatory Requirements/Time:
• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
• 5+ years of business analyst experience
• 3+ year of business process analysis
• 3+ Years of testing or quality assurance testing experience
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
