Description

Seeking a Product Specialist 5 with distributed application development experience having knowledge of skills required to build, manage, deploy applications and configuration using multiple DevOps tools. Understand and exercise DevOps concepts. As a Build & Release Engineer, have knowledge of technologies and techniques for automating builds & deployments;

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Daily deploy of software builds across all
2. Development, Test, and Production environments
3. Manage/communicate all deployment scheduling
4. Maintain and enhance build scripts
5. Monitor build logs and escalate errors/issues
6. Work collaboratively with Development and Infrastructure staff to support server and web hosting environment.

Position Specific Requirements

Build and Release automation - 5 years (Required)

Information Technology Infrastructure build and administration - 5 years (Required)

Application development: 3+ Years

ITIL Foundation Level Certification: (Desired)

Multiplatform (Java, .Net) Release and Deployment administrator/participant: 3 years. (Required)

Application build/deployment experience on Unix/AIX/Linux: 2-3 years

Application build/deployment experience on Microsoft: 2-3 years

1. Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems from an accredited four-year college with programming languages, scripting and tools for web platforms (i.e. ASP.Net, C#, Java, AngularJS, etc.)
2. Experience programming with the languages and tools for web platforms (i.e. ASP.Net, C#, Java, AngularJS, etc.)
3. Knowledge of software development methodologies, processes, and project governance

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate within IT and business partners while managing customer expectations.

1. General understanding of Agile development methodology
2. Basic understanding of continuous integration concepts
3. Experience with Azure DevOps, TFS, GIT, SVN, TeamCity, Nexus and Maven, plus ANT scripting expected.
