Job Description:

The Managed Care Re-Procurement Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the process for managed care re-procurement, including coordinating the work of multiple vendors and ODM staff and managing both technical and business workstreams. The position will function as a member of the Medicaid Managed Care and Contracts as Acquisitions team.

Responsibilities:
• Project oversight as the State project manager representing ODM, assuring that ODM and contracted vendors meet their commitments to bring the project in on time and within budget and scope.
• Provides overall direction, guidance, and facilitation for managed care re-procurement process, including working with cross-functional teams at ODM, contracted vendor and external stakeholders (as required).
• Oversees vendor implementation of re-procurement process.
• Other project management and coordination duties as assigned.
• Manages, coordinates, and establishes priorities for complete life-cycle of projects including the planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of business solutions designed to meet requirements of various departments in the company, such as distribution, finance, and manufacturing.
• Designs project plans, which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel.

Detailed Day-to-Day Job Duties to be performed:
• Work with ODM managed care and contracts and acquisition teams as well as contracted vendors to manage assigned projects from requirements gathering through implementation.
• Create, execute, and update project plans and maintain all project documentation.
• Manages project risks and issues and oversees supporting processes including change management.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings with ODM and multiple vendors.
Required Skill Sets:
• At least 10 years’ experience in project or program management, implementing large scale projects, including working with multiple stakeholders on both business and technical projects.
• Managed Care experience, preferred.
• Procurement experience, preferred.
Selected contractor is expected to work on-site presence at ODM.
