Information Technology (IT) Program Manager Job Duties:

  1. Communicates with the business subject matter experts, the (Hearings Appeals Tracking System) HATS technical team and the Contractor to oversee the current scope of work outlined in the RFP, i.e.:
    1. HATS Web Portal
    2. HATS Pending Intake Enhancement
    3. HATS Dashboard Reporting Enhancements
    4. HATS Enhanced Calendaring Schedule
    5. HATS Archive Process
    6. HATS Staffing Support
  2. Maintains project plan, schedule and timeline of activities and communicate with business and all stakeholders.
  3. Accountable for the approval and sign-off of the program plan with customer representatives.
  1. Accountable for management of scope for the program and gaining agreement and approval of scope changes with customer representatives and affected stakeholders.
  2. Manage, and track the program progress against the program plan.
  3. Creates weekly status reports inside Project Management Tool (CA-PPM) for project status.
  4. Identify and manage program risk and develops risk mitigation strategies, track to closure.
  5. Ensure team leads adjust and revise estimates when necessary.
  6. Anticipate issues and proactively address them. Resolve conflicts with sensitivity and tact.
  7. Coordinate the establishment of program standards and program specific procedures with team leads.
  8. Ensure that tasks provide value and support the strategic direction of the program and meet service commitments; conduct reviews with agencies.
  9. Manages, coordinates entire life-cycle of projects including the planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of business solutions designed to meet requirements of various stakeholders – Job and Family Services Legal, Department of Medicaid, County Departments.
  1. Designs project plans, which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel.
  2. Works closely with the Business, scheduling meetings, documenting
  3. Actively participates in upper level meetings for Steering Committee to present project status and gain stakeholder acceptance for new ideas.

Looking for 1 Program Manager 4

REQUIRED:

  1. Four (4) years experience as a full-time experience as an IT Project Manager managing complex projects.
  2. Managed Two (2) successfully implemented projects using agile methodology.
  3. Two (2) years experience leading large multi-discipline team toward the delivery goal;
  4. Must have experience using office automation and project planning tools such as CA PPM (Clarity) Project Management Software, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Visio, Microsoft Office 365, One Note, JIRA and other tool sets;
  5. Must have proven software design and development programming planning and delivery background.
  6. Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  7. Must be goal oriented with proven results.

DESIRABLE – Candidate:

  1. PMP certification.
  2. Scrum master certification.
  3. Previous experience as a Project Manager managing Legal systems.
  4. Previous experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Project.
  5. Previous experience with Microsoft Teams /Office 365 Groups
  6. Previous experience tracking project resources and budget
  7. Desirable candidate is a highly motivated, results driven, proactive Project Manager
