Requirement Description:

A Privacy Consultant is needed to help the OISP augment the privacy program staff complete a department-wide privacy impact assessment update.

This position will function as a highly skilled Privacy Consultant with specific responsibilities that include:

Evaluates and coordinates privacy impact assessment processes:
1. Assists in the performance of privacy impact assessments and monitoring activities and makes recommendations to improve processes;
2. Assists divisional representatives in completing data discovery and analyzing personal information throughout the information lifecycle.
3. Collects, stores, and organizes privacy impact assessment documentation, including using Sharepoint and/or ServiceNow GRC tools;
4. Develops reports on progress of overall assessment project.
5. Works closely with the chief privacy officer and DAS divisional representatives to review proposed changes to computer installations, communications networks, data collection screens, or other electronic/paper data collection mechanisms to be used for the management of personal information;
6. Facilitates discussions and recommendations on technological initiatives that are supportive of privacy compliance
7. Understands customer support, likes to work with people and can ensure that the customer is satisfied.

Interview:
During the interview process with the OISP staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance. Resource will have a background check.

7. Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language.
Mandatory Requirements/Time:

1. 4 years privacy analysis/compliance or information security compliance, risk assessments or information lifecycle management
2. 3 years project management experience
3. 2 years customer service experience
4. 3 years facilitating working groups
5. 3 years Sharepoint experience
6. Contributes to continuous process improvements to increase the efficiency of section.
7. Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Desired Skills/Time:

• Certified Information Privacy Professional/Certified Information Privacy Manager certification
• GRC tools
• ITIL Knowledge and ITSM Tools

CISSP Required.
