Role: Product Specialist 2 (PS2). The PS5 is requested from January 2, 2019 to June 30, 2019 (1000 hours)

Requirement Description:
The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation’s Technical Services Department.
This position will function as a highly skilled PS2 with specific responsibilities that include:
• Editing road inventory data using ESRI Roads & Highways, ArcMap, Road Characteristic Editor (RCE)
• GeoSpatial Analysis including spatial intersection, spatial difference, analytical merge and aggregations.
• Use LRS functions for dynamic segmentation, linear overlays (intersection, union or difference), events generation and adding route information to spatially located points.
• Knowledge of GIS and IT industry best practices and standards to be applied to all aspects of any solution
• Experience using desktop and web GIS applications for data visualization and configuration
• Experience working with spatial projection libraries and ability to identify what’s being used or needed
• Experience re-projecting data sources, as needed, to produce what is needed for the system
Technical Skills
• ArcMap Desktop 10.1 – 10.5.1
• ESRI Roads & Highways 10.5.1 (including RCE
• GeoMedia Pro 16.5
• GeoMedia Transportation Manager version 16.5
• FME 2015 -2018 (desktop & server)
• SQL
• Google Earth Pro
Desired Skills:
• Experience with LRS concepts
• Working knowledge of Location Based Response System (LBRS)
• Working knowledge of Ohio Department of Transportation’s Road Inventory
• Familiarity with Google Earth Pro and doing data review/testing in it
• Ability to write SQL scripts for use in ArcGIS and database tools
• Ability to perform end to end solution testing from the data, to system architecture to user expectations
