Open Contractor Assignment Title: Cold Fusion Developer Contractor
Estimated Length of Assignment: Through the end of the year with possible extension *Assignment may end at any time.
Will close to submissions: Monday 10/22/2018 at 10:00am EST
Interviews: Onsite interviews only
NFP Rate: $64.70
Overview: Support current custom Cold Fusion code and assist with troubleshooting current Cold Fusion applications.
Functions by performing the duties listed below.
Job Responsibilities:
Write code that accurately renders web designs using standard web languages and techniques using Cold Fusion, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS.
Troubleshoot issues with existing web applications and provide additional technical assistance to end users
Maintain and update content for existing websites
Focus on learning the applications and code base for a transition to other agencies

Required:
• Proficiency with Cold Fusion
• Proficiency with standard web programming languages, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Focus on using web development best practices
• Focus on user-friendly and accessible design and interface experience
• Proficiency in Cold Fusion development environments such as Dreamweaver
• Ability to operate a personal computer using the Microsoft Office Suite of software under the Microsoft Windows operating system
• Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred:
Proficiency with web programming frameworks and protocols, including jQuery, AJAX and XML
• Experience with server-side programming and database languages such as Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with Visual Studio The Screening Process:
At least one onsite technical screening with the FCDC Director of Enterprise Architecture and a senior .Net Engineer. This will include a technical assessment.
