(There will be two BA2 positions posted for DMH. These are positions for two different projects. One project is for Peer Recovery and the other is for the grant-funded State Opioid Project. They both will function similar tasks but DMH would like to keep them separate (separate postings) for tracking against the grant. You may submit the same candidate to both positions.)

Job Description:
As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the primary liaison between IT and the business for the Peer Recovery Support Project. The BA will collaborate with the business and the software development team to analyze business requirements and transform them into documented requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Manage relationships and communicates with the business owners, business stakeholders, software developers, etc.
• Document business and non-functional requirements through a variety of techniques including user stories, data modeling, process flow modeling, screen mockups, report mockups etc. Document business rules.
• Facilitate requirements gathering meetings including kickoffs, software reviews and demos.
• Help ensure the team understands the business needs and goals and ensure the team’s solutions address the business needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree
• Experience in documenting requirements, specifications and test plans
• Experience in gathering and analyzing user requirements
• Experience working as a BA in an agile environment is required
Software/Computer Skills:
• iRise prototyping, MS Excel, MS Word, MS SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint
• Prior experience with website development teams required
• Prior experience with mobile applications
Other Skills:
• Excellent communication skills including listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills while eliciting requirements to understand the real need for the request
• Proficient with project management practices and tools
