Job Classification:   Technical Specialist TS1 (Technical Trainer)
Role :   Writing and instructing of IT training plans to non-technical trainees across Ohio

NTE Rate: $85.49
Interviews: On-site interviews
Position will close to new submittals: Friday 8/31 @ 10AM
Duration of project: This project is scheduled to run through February but could potentially be extended based off of deployment schedules
Requirement Description:

Tasks include and may expand as project plan is finalized:
1. Working with the project manager and OOD-IT management & staff on the OOD-IT technology refresh project
2. Gathering information, developing and writing training plans on specific training topics
3. Comfortably instructing training plans in a public speaking forum to groups of non-technical trainees across Ohio
4. Travel with OOD-IT management & staff throughout Ohio and possibly stay overnight for the duration of the OOD-IT technology refresh project

Interview:
During the interview process with the OOD staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance.

4. Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.

6. Have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements.
7. Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language.
Mandatory Requirements/Time:

1. This position requires a background check by the staff augmentation company and submit the results to OOD.
2. 3 years of verifiable experience as a technical support of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (8.1/10) and Microsoft Windows Server (2012/2016) environments.
3. 3 years of verifiable experience that includes synchronizing infrastructure support with other members of infrastructure, applications, database administration, security, and networking.
4. 3 years proficient in both technical and non-technical training material development & writing and comfortably instructing the training material in a classroom setting.
Desired Skills/Time:

1. Ideal candidates will work standard 40 hours work week for period: now to 2/28/2019 and will be able to extend based on project plans and needs. It is possible to work more than 40 hours work week when traveling.
2. Ideal candidates must have specialized technical knowledge and experience in understanding and supporting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 8.1/10) using different tools/technologies within the Microsoft Windows Server (2012 or 2016) environment.
3. Ideal candidate must have the ability to critically think, organize and write professionally and creatively using layman terms to form an instructional booklet of step by step instructions on the following training topics:
