Position Description:
Description of Duties (Primary & Secondary) – List the top 5 and their % of Total Time.
1. Develop and maintain the solution architecture (30%) for the on-premise CORE system.
2. Design, Develop, Test and CORE system (40%)
3. Impart knowledge and training to other CORE team members and ODE application developers. (15%)
4. Develop and coordinate cloud architecture (Both solution and information architecture) for CORE Migration to cloud (15%)
Position Requirements:
A description of the team the candidate will be working in. The CORE team has one PM, one Application Manager one architect (this role), three developers and one tester. This person will work very closely with the IT Director and other business stakeholders to maintain the existing CORE system and start cloud migration process.
. Experience in developing/maintaining IT systems using Microsoft .NET 2.0 and above (C# preferred) -- 10 years
. Experience in Relational database technologies (MS SQL or Oracle) -- 10 years
. Experience in architecting IT systems using Microsoft .NET 2.0 and above (C# preferred) – 8 years
. Experience in Minimally required technical skills:
. leading teams through multiple stages of software development (from system analysis to deployment) – 5 years
. Experience in Test Driven Development and test automation -- 5 years
. Experience in Agile Development Methodologies using TFS -- 5 years
. Experience with other web UI development tools/languages (JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, MVC) -- 5 years
. Mocking framework (MoQ or equivalent) -- 5 years
. Dependency injection (Autofac or equivalent) -- 5 years
Preferred Qualification (Microsoft Azure related):
. Experience in using Microsoft Azure – 1 year
. Experience in developing cloud architecture and adoption strategy for Azure -- 1 year.
. Experience in developing/maintaining IT systems in a hybrid mode (Azure cloud and on-premise system) -- 1 year.
. Experience in developing/maintaining Azure cloud native IT systems -- 1 year.
. Experience in migrating existing .NET application to Azure -- 1 year
. Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery in Azure -- 1 year
. Azure Technologies (e.g. Azure function, Azure Batch/Web Jobs) -- 1 year
