Job Description:
Detailed Day-To-Day Job Duties to be performed:
• Help facilitate Kaizen events
• Work with business staff to develop current and future state process maps
• Conduct voice of the customer interviews to define root cause of problem
• Gather data and identify process metrics and critical to quality measures
• Follow the Roadmap to success and apply Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) methodology to core processes
• Facilitate 5S process to transform work areas and increase efficiencies
• Report on delivery problems & performance data
• Provide regular progress reports to ODM executive staff
• Mentor camo and green belts to complete projects and obtain certification
• Provide technical assistance for Lean Six Sigma Projects throughout the agency
• Envision future states and conduct Gap analysis
• Identify, develop and interpret meaningful data metrics and set up long term data analysis
• Develop metrics, scorecards and dashboards that evaluate project and process performance
• Operate personal computer & applicable software (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) to create, produce, store and retrieve correspondence
REQUIRED Skill Sets:
• Able to define, document and articulate dashboards to evaluate project performance
• Able to work on complex datasets
• 3+ years facilitating Kaizen events
• 3+ years working as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to improve organization processes
DESIRED Skill Sets:
3+ years of Mini Tab experience
