Requirement Description:

1. Provide Infrastructure Oversight of numerous Service Providers
2. Ensure that SLA’s and other performance metrics are met by our service providers
3. Help monitor and troubleshoot the technical performance of the ERP systems
4. Drive collaboration with our Managed Services Providers (MSP), key internal IT organizations, and other critical vendor partners for key technology projects and day-to-day operations support.
5. Lead identification, triage, troubleshooting and reporting of production issues and problems in the ERP infrastructure
6. Help develop solution architectures, technical work plans and estimates for planned projects (e.g. upgrades, expansion, new capability releases, etc.)
7. Monitor and report on infrastructure health and performance
8. Participate in key operations leadership meetings representing infrastructure operations
9. Act as the key management liaison to the State’s Security team
10. Lead and coordinate efforts for infrastructure-related SOC1 audit efforts
11. Ensure maintenance schedules are rigorously adhered to
12. Participate in new project acceptance and quality assurance reviews
13. Develop new processes and procedures as necessary
14. Consult on technical aspects of break/fix approaches, planned enhancements, MSP contract change requests, and architecture strategies and approaches necessary for driving ongoing performance management and security compliance
15. Bring research and recommendations to the Operations team to continually improve the current systems operating environment

Interview:

Skills and Abilities: During the interview process, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification.

2. Must have excellent oral and written skills, and possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.
3. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
4. Must have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
5. Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language.
Critical Experience:
1. Operations management in a geographically dispersed, high availability, virtualized system environment
2. Large/complex organization project deployments
3. Outsourcing – preferably onshore – in a leadership role
4. ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft/Oracle
5. Cloud-based provider management
6. Demonstrable understanding of architectural principles and best practices for infrastructure operations
7. Defining and tracking key performance metrics
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:

1. Oracle Engineered Systems hardware platform
2. Experience with interface batch architectures and third-party "bolt on" applications that commonly integrate with PeopleSoft applications systems (e.g. EDI, FTP, UC4, Tumbleweed, etc.)
3. Ability to interface and resolve issues across all levels of an organization
4. Proficient in ITIL, SDLC, and Quality Assurance processes
5. Developing comprehensive technical strategy deliverables for both application and infrastructure environments
6. Developing technical documentation for applications and systems
Preferred Education 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
Certifications in ITIL, Oracle Technologies, Security or other relevant advanced degrees
