Requirement Description:

The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP).

This position will function as a highly skilled Software Team Lead with specific responsibilities that include:
• Develop and test application in support of the project specifications and interfaces.
• Develop Database processes in support of the project specifications
• Data analysis and validation
• Create test cases and test approaches to validate spatial results
• Validate user and reference data
• Collaborate with the technical team members in creating designs.
• Review and understand the Application Team’s work plan.
• Provide status of work and deliverable estimate to Project Manager.
• Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks.
• Resolve issues of inaccuracy or feasibility.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time, work under pressure of tight deadlines, and meet assigned deadlines.
Experience:
1. Ability to collaborate, negotiate and take direction from the supporting resources across business and/or functional lines.
2. Possess excellent communication skills; both oral and written skills.
3. Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
4. Demonstrate proven experience in troubleshooting issues.
Mandatory Requirements/Time:

-4 year college degree or equivalent technical study with advanced study preferred.

-8 years’ relevant experience over the last 10 years:

• Advanced Oracle SQL (Structured Query Language):
Spatial Queries
PL SQL
• ASP.NET MVC 4.0, C#
• Object Oriented Java Script
