Title: ServiceNow Architect/ Lead Developer

Estimated Length of Assignment: 9 Months to 1 Year       *Assignment may end at any time.

Will close to submissions: Friday 3/30/18 at 10:00am EST

Interviews:
-If your candidate is shortlisted, they will be required to record an 'interview' via InterviewStream. This will entail answering three pre-recorded questions. Each answer is limited to two minutes, so this should not take more then ten minutes total.
-After the hiring manager reviews resumes and recorded interviews, he will select candidates for technical interviews. Onsite interviews are preferred, but phone/Skype will also be considered.

Please be aware this is a high level Architect/Developer position, which requires previous experience LEADING the implementation of a ServiceNow IT Service Management platform. Do not submit candidates who are ServiceNow Administrators and/or who have not led a ServiceNow implementation.

Overview:

Franklin County Data Center is looking for a qualified contractor to provide professional services to lead implementation of the ServiceNow IT Service Management platform in order to support the needs of the County. The platform should be built for global process with multiple agencies while allowing for agency uniqueness at the data level. The Contractor will be onsite working with all stakeholders conducting workshops and trainings during the implementation, User Acceptance Testing and Go-Live post implementation services.

The services include implementation of the Public Sector Update Set and Resource/Demand Management modules which includes the following:

    1. Enhance current Incident Management deployment per industry standard
    2. Change Management
    3. Enhance Problem Management
    4. IT Asset Management
    5. Enhance Service Request deployment per industry standard
    6. Release Management
    7. Service Catalog
    8. Configuration Management
    9. Interface with ancillary systems and tools
    10. Knowledge
    11. Portal
    12. Demand Management
  1. Resource Management
  2. LDAP and Ping identity integration
  3. Implement Reports and Dashboarding, Contextual Collaboration, Workflow, Orchestration and Service Levels.
  4. Implement ITOps, SecOps and GRC modules namely Risk, Audit, Compliance and Vendor management and optimize operation orchestration Implement IT Business Management namely Demand, Resource, Project and Portfolio management.
  5. User training and support of the modules
  6. Data Segregation at an agency level so portal can be leveraged to promote self-service and reporting.
  7. Financial Management

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and lead ServiceNow architecture, implementation of various modules in ServiceNow.
  • Lead all functional and technical aspects of solution delivery including application UI configuration, workflow configuration, development of required specific reporting
  • Interface with global ServiceNow technical teams to successfully implement and support the Enterprise Service Management platform.
  • Prepare and implement all deliverables for processes and workflow design
  • Consults process owners with solution implementation
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

  • Experience implementing the following: Service Portal, Project Portfolio Management, Agile/SDLC, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, GRC, Discovery, financial management, SecOps and ITOM
  • Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including SOAP, REST API, JSON, SSO-SAML, LDAP
  • Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, Jelly, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Jelly, Ajax, jQuery
  • Understanding of various script types in ServiceNow including Ajax Scripts, Business rules, client scripts, script includes, workflow Editor, as well as familiarity of server and client glide records
  • Experience building workflows and automated scripts.
  • Experience with leading the process definition, design & implementation of multiple applications in ServiceNow and their supporting processes
  • Experience with implementation of IT Service Management processes including but not limited to Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB and possible enhancement, Service Catalog
  • Previous experience working on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions.
  • Experience developing and implementing process documentation.
  • Experience working with business users to gather requirements, writing functional and technical specifications and communicating technical requirements
  • Experience managing ServiceNow version updates and new releases which includes testing, documentation, analysis of new functionality and implementation of the release
  • Development of Service catalog which includes creating new catalog items, designing workflows and execution plans
  • Able to organize / migrate updates to ServiceNow instances for development, testing, and production using update
  • Experience in cloning and upgrade activities
  • Experience leading all functional and technical aspects of solution delivery including application UI configuration, workflow configuration, development of required specific reporting
  • Experience interfacing with global ServiceNow technical teams to successfully implement and support the Enterprise Service Management platform.
  • Prepare and implement all deliverables for processes and workflow design
