Job Description:
Work on an application development team (12 developers) in the role as primary SSRS report developer. This individual will design and develop new production reports and enhance or troubleshoot existing reports for the Automated Title Processing System (ATPS). ATPS is a statewide application used to support the titling of vehicles, and other property in the state of Ohio. ATPS has recently undergone a rewrite and migration to an N-Tier architecture with custom C# application code using MS SQL 2014 as the data repository. Reporting is currently being performed on the transactional database and is highly complex. The current solution contains over 200 reports that use 250 complex stored procedures to retrieve data. Users run over 9,000 reports each day in the production environment.

The candidates for this position will be expected to:
1. Support the current operational reporting requirements and needs by maintaining existing reports, creating new reports, and troubleshooting production report issues.
2. Improve report performance and maintainability of the reporting architecture by optimizing report design and database queries and recommending changes to the overall reporting architecture.
3. Provide expertise, guidance, support and/or training to DPS developers.
4. Work with ODPS staff to update, patch, and repair the ATPS application software components in the development, test, and QA environments, and develop software changes for promotion to production following best practice and standards as defined by ODPS.
5. Take corrective action, subject to the ODPS Management approval, to resolve all issues and problems encountered to ensure the application performs as required.

During the interview process with the ODPS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance.

Need Mandatory Requirements/Time:
1. 5 years of verifiable experience with SQL Server Database (Versions 2008 R2 or higher) design and development including optimization of queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
2. 5 years of verifiable SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
3. 5 years of verifiable SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
4. 3 years of verifiable experience utilizing Visual Studio 2015/2013 and Team Foundation Server (TFS).
5. 3 years of verifiable experience as a Senior .Net Web Forms and Windows Forms Developer utilizing ASP.NET
6. 5 years of verifiable .Net experience utilizing C – Sharp (C#)
7. 3 years verifiable experience or a demonstrable understanding of N-tier environments as it relates to development and deployment.
8. 2 years experience implementing Data Warehouse using SQL Server 2012/2014
