44579: Columbus, OH – IT – JFS – Business Analyst 5/BA5

JFS is looking for a Senior BA/ Technical Writer for a project through 6/30/2017 with a potential for extension. This will be a hybrid role of Analyzing Business Requirements and Producing Documentation. Local candidates highly preferred.

SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST / TECHNICAL WRITER
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on the IT Project Prioritization and Multi-Year Plan effort within ODJFS; aligning IT projects with Program Office business needs
• Assist with the development and operationalization of the “Investment Management Lifecycle” as it relates to:
o Operation of Governing Committees
o Description and documentation of inputs/outputs, roles and responsibilities, reporting needs, and other artifacts as they are determined, for each step in the lifecycle
• Build the documentation of the lifecycle as it is designed including:
o Documenting the cycle in a descriptive format
o Documenting the process in a workflow model
o Building templates – e.g. business case, idea briefing, cost model
o Building report models
• Facilitate discussions between multiple IT pillars and business users
• Provide project coordination support

Required Skills and Experience:

• 12 months experience using CA PPM as a project team member, project manager or administrator

• 12 months experience with Project Management methodologies with the majority of the following subject areas:

o Scope management
o Issue management
o Risk management
o Change management
o Communication management
o Stakeholder management
o Schedule management

• 12 months experience in data analysis using Jaspersoft Studio or other similar product (e.g. Cognos, Tableau, Business Objects)

• Ability to create PM process documentation and training material for:

o Scope management
o Issue management
o Risk management
o Change management
o Communication management
o Stakeholder management
o Schedule management

• 5 plus years experience in a Requirements Gathering/ Technical Documentation role.

Highly Desirable:

• PMP Certified
• Experience with CA PPM Administration
• Experience with CA PPM Jaspersoft Studio using Version 6.1_5.1.0.2.x or 6.2.1_5.2.1.x (or higher)

o Publish Reports
o Integrate customized reports with CA PPM
