Role:

Production Systems has undergone a critical staff change and under new inexperienced personnel. The members currently have minimal experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler. Our daily schedules are executed on Tivoli Workload Scheduler 8.5.

Requirement Description:

Consultant will help area to perform daily job duties to a high standard of quality and efficiency to the Tax Department as well as to all the current tax payers of Ohio. Training current staff on Tivoli Workload Scheduler daily activities and help create and update diagrams/instructions on the current procedures of our current systems.

1. Monitoring Process
Creating Alerts Notices for Critical Jobs
Creating/Setting View Options
Holding/Setting a job in Graphical View
Creating Tasks

2. Information Gathering
Workload Designer
Working with Variables
Creating Prompts, Resources, Calendars, Jobs
Closing Workflow Designer

3. Understanding the Workload
Creating a Processing Diagram
Defining the Jobstreams
Adding Job Stream Dependencies, Properties and Adding Jobs

4. Troubleshooting
Submitting an Ad-Hoc Job Stream with Dependencies
Testing the Job Stream Dependency
Stopping/Starting a workstation
Job Logs and Properties

5. Verifying Infrastructure:
Helping to Analyze our current Job Schedules
Modify our current Job Schedules
Help make sure we are utilizing all capabilities we have access to.

During the interview process with the TAX staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource’s experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror’s proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance.

1. Strong communication/ leadership skills.
2. Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation experience.
3. Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines.
4. Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.
5. Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
6. Have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements.
7. Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language.

Mandatory Requirements/Time:

1. 5 or more years’ experience with Tivoli Workload Scheduler
2. 5 or more years creating notices and reports
3. Knowledge of Tivoli Workload Designer
4. Experience creating prompts, calendars, jobs and resources
5. Experience creating process diagrams
6. Experience defining jobstreams
